In this guide, we share the thoughts and considerations of our Painter Lu\u00eds. <\/p>\n\n<p>There are some situations that will make it incredibly difficult to achieve an effective refinish, so consider these details before deciding whether or not to repaint.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Temperature<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If the temperature is 10\u00b0C colder or warmer than during its initial application, the brightness of the retouched area may be affected, so try to paint in similar environmental conditions;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Coating color<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Darker colors are generally more difficult to touch up than lighter colors;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Substrate porosity<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Any newly damaged and filled areas will absorb the touch-up coat at a different rate than the surrounding areas previously painted. This can result in variations in color and brightness; <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Brightness level<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Variations in the way the painted surface reflects light are significantly more noticeable with high-gloss paints;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ink Batch<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In general, it&#8217;s a good idea to save some paint for touch-ups.
