Blistering can occur on exterior walls, as a result of water vapor passing from the inside to the outside of the house. <\/p>\n\n<p>The causes of blistering are:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>application of paints on damp surfaces (when passing through the surface, water exerts pressure on the paint, peeling it off).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applying a second coat of paint over a poorly dried first coat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>degradation of joints, which no longer insulate moisture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>plumbing cracks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The first step to recover walls with moisture in which blistering occurs is to repair the origin. It could be a crack in the exterior wall or in the plumbing. After repairing the origin, the blistered paint must be completely removed.  <\/p>\n\n<p>When the surface is completely dry, a suitable paint scheme should be applied.
